Nursing Professional Opportunity

Humber River Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Resource Team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in various Medical and Surgical Inpatient Units, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to patients in Medical and Surgical Inpatient Units
- Work collaboratively with the Nursing Resource Team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
- Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS certification or demonstrated competency
- Recent Medical and/or Surgical experience is mandatory; minimum 2 years experience preferred
- Coronary Care I or actively pursuing the Coronary Care Certification is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse staff, patients, and families
- Excellent physical assessment skills, with a preference for applicants who have taken the physical assessment course
- Good patient/family teaching skills
- Excellent critical thinking skills, with the ability to set priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent attendance and discipline-free record required
