Bell Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect to lead our data transformation efforts. As a key member of our Enterprise Data Platforms and AI team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures that meet the evolving needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Data Architectures: Lead the design, development, and implementation of data architectures that meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Lead Data Migration Projects: Plan and execute data migration projects from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop Data Models: Define and implement data models that align with business requirements and ensure data consistency and integrity.
  • Develop and Maintain Data Pipelines: Design and implement data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources.
  • Document Data Capabilities: Roadmaps and solutions to achieve the long-term vision, and communicate them effectively to all stakeholders in order to gain alignment and momentum.
  • Contribute to Data Best Practices: Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for data architecture and management.
  • Implement Data Security Measures: Ensure the security and confidentiality of data by implementing appropriate security measures and protocols.
  • Stay Abreast of Industry Trends: Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in data architecture and cloud computing.
  • Mentor and Guide Team Members: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data architects and engineers.
Critical Qualifications
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of information technology architecture experience, with at least 2 as a senior architect role.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, software engineering or equivalent, or business.
  • Ability to deal, on a daily basis, with senior management, peers and junior staff, both internally and externally, with business and professional skills in Information Technology.
  • Ability to use a diplomatic approach to work with high-level stakeholders and introduction of changes in the business.
  • Ability to communicate highly complex matters and adapt to the target audience and forum. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills to clearly express and communicate concepts, designs and proposals.
  • Ability to deal with a broad range of legacy and next generation technologies with the skills to recognize and exploit the advantages of both.
  • Ability to conceptualize and think abstractly, and work and manage in a technically complex environment.
  • Extensive experience in the full solutions development cycle.
  • Experience in leading virtual teams.
  • Experience on Agile and DevOps (Continuous Integration/Deployment) methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Cloud hyperscaler GCP or AWS is an asset.
  • Knowledge of TM Forum standard and CDMC framework.
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks like TOGAF.

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
