About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at IDM Professional Corporation. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, such as calculating fixed assets and depreciation, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Utilize accounting software, such as Caseware/Caseview, MS Excel, and Quick Books, to manage financial data and prepare reports.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work independently, with attention to detail, and under tight deadlines to meet the demands of the role.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate accurate, client-focused, and dependable work habits, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
