About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Safe Care Home Support Ltd. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities
    • Help patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
    • Assist with feeding and meal preparation
    • Provide support with toileting and incontinence care
  • Provide Personal Care
    • Assist with mobility and transfers
    • Help patients with exercise routines and physical therapy
    • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Assist with Medical Care
    • Take patients' vital signs
    • Assist with medication administration
    • Provide basic first aid and wound care
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment
    • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
    • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
