About TruckIt Network

TruckIt Network is a trading style of Arcube Pty Ltd, a leading online freight marketplace that connects shippers with carriers. We are expanding our Engineering team and seeking a talented software developer to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled software developer to design and develop platform software changes to meet business requirements. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of backend development in PHP (Laravel or a similar framework) and experience integrating payment systems and custom payment workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Design and develop platform software changes to meet business requirements.
  • Payment Workflows: Create complex payment workflows, including split payments, delayed payments, and automation of factoring and payment terms.
  • Software Analysis: Conduct software analysis, unit testing, code review, version control, and documentation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other developers to resolve technical challenges and work closely with key stakeholders to understand the needs of providers and customers.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a software developer.
  • Education: A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of backend development in PHP (Laravel or a similar framework), experience integrating payment systems and custom payment workflows, knowledge of relational databases such as AWS Aurora or MySQL, familiarity with in-memory databases like Redis and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DocumentDB, knowledge of AWS infrastructure, including Lambda, EC2, S3, Load Balancer, and VPC, experience with API development, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, familiarity with container orchestration and Docker.
