About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our growing Engineering team at TruckIt Network, a trading style of Arcube Pty Ltd. As a key member of our development team, you will contribute to transforming ideas into successful products and features within our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop platform software changes to meet business requirements.
  • Create complex payment workflows, including split payments, delayed payments, and automation of factoring and payment terms.
  • Ensure software functionality aligns with business requirements.
  • Gather and document user/technical requirements and participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, using agile methodologies.
  • Conduct software analysis, unit testing, code review, version control, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other developers to resolve technical challenges.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand the needs of providers and customers.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a software developer.
  • A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience integrating payment systems and custom payment workflows.
  • Solid understanding of backend development in PHP (Laravel or a similar framework).
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as AWS Aurora or MySQL.
  • Familiarity with in-memory databases like Redis and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DocumentDB.
  • Knowledge of AWS infrastructure, including Lambda, EC2, S3, Load Balancer, and VPC.
  • Experience with API development.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration and Docker.
