    At BOEING TRUCKING INC., we are seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities of the Logistics Supervisor include:

  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Prepare and submit reports: Develop and maintain accurate reports to inform business decisions and measure team performance.
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work: Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality: Analyze and resolve complex issues, provide expert advice, and implement process improvements to drive business success.
  • Recruit and hire staff: Partner with HR to identify, select, and hire top talent to support team growth and development.
  • Train workers in duties and policies: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Arrange training for staff: Identify training needs and develop a plan to ensure team members have the opportunities they need to grow and develop.
  • Conduct performance reviews: Regularly evaluate team member performance, provide constructive feedback, and develop plans to improve performance.
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work: Effectively manage workloads, prioritize tasks, and review progress to ensure team goals are met.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies: Procure necessary resources to support team operations and ensure timely delivery.
  • Organize and maintain inventory: Develop and implement inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures: Create and maintain efficient schedules and procedures to ensure team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
