About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Petro Canada with A&W. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Verify Age Requirements: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and meets company standards.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking; standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and reliability.
