About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmology Theatre Leader to join our team at Royal Berkshire Hospital.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have experience in anaesthetics and/or surgery and/or recovery, with a proven track record of leading teams and mentoring staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the skilled care of patients within their theatre specialty, demonstrating expertise in all aspects of patient care.
  • Provide direct support to clinicians and patients as required.
  • Contribute to the management of the specialty by acting as a professional role model and leading a team.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • RN or RODP qualification.
  • Mentorship or teaching and assessing qualification.
  • Post-registration qualification/module in anaesthetics and/or surgery and/or recovery and/or HDU.
Benefits

This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary of £37,338 to £44,962 per annum (plus 5% fringe benefit).
