Assistant Store Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Marshalls. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and driving sales growth, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates
- Provide coaching and feedback to improve sales performance and customer service
- Lead by example and demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Sales and Customer Service
- Drive sales growth through effective merchandise presentation, visual merchandising, and customer engagement
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt and courteous service
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Operations and Logistics
- Manage store operations, including inventory management, stockroom organization, and receiving and processing shipments
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with district managers and other store managers to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of retail management experience, preferably in a similar role
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and district managers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
