Job Title: Floor Covering Installer

Aligned Floor Coverings Inc is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered to determine the best course of action for installation
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlayment and underpadding to create a smooth and even surface
  • Install carpeting, resilient flooring, and other types of floor coverings to meet client specifications
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to ensure a high-quality finish
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Prepare floors for installation by removing existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Transport materials and tools to and from work areas to ensure efficient installation
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license to transport materials and tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure high-quality installations
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients and team members
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals
