Job Title: Plumber - Pipefitting

We are seeking a skilled Plumber - Pipefitting to join our team at Whistler Personnel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Work Setting

Our Plumber - Pipefitting will work in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential locations. You will be required to work on construction sites, installing and maintaining plumbing systems, and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on plumbing systems and techniques
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
Certifications and Licenses

Our ideal candidate will hold a Plumber Trade Certification and a Plumber Red Seal Certificate. You will also be required to have a clean driving record and be physically fit to perform the demands of the job.
