The Operations Supervisor is a key role within our manufacturing team at Natural Factors. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team and contribute to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and supervise the daily activities of the Bulk Packaging department to ensure quality and productivity.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of the department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all bulk packaging equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve their targets in a safe and healthy work environment.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and inventory through our enterprise resource planning system.
- Implement process changes and ensure continuous improvement is embedded in the team's culture.
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve annual goals and targets.
- Grade 12 diploma required; post-secondary education in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing, operations management, or supply chain management, including 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Lean Six Sigma principles an asset.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
