Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse

Verve Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team. As an RPN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Accountability Objective:

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing the needs of individual residents and developing personalized care plans
  • Providing direct resident care, including administering medications and treatments
  • Supervising and guiding care staff to ensure high-quality care
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to a culture of excellence
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Background and Qualifications:

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • A minimum of grade 12 education and a recognized nursing license (RPN licensing) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Current certifications in Emergency First Aid, CPR, and AED
  • Previous experience working as an RPN in a healthcare setting, an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
  • A positive attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional care and service
