Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Business Manager to join our team at ConMed. As a key member of our Extended Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of sales professionals in the Central Region, focusing on growth, market share gain, and strategic customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage Sales Team: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals in the Central Region, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their sales targets and goals.
  • Drive Regional Sales Growth: Develop and execute a regional sales strategy that aligns with national marketing plans, driving incremental win rate and market share growth within the region.
  • Partner with Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to drive pre and post RFP activity within the region, ensuring a high win rate on Regional and National RFPs.
  • Act as a Mentor: Provide guidance and support to direct reports, helping them to develop and implement annual territory sales plans and sales strategies.
  • Develop and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain key relationships with regional surgeon KOLs, SSOs, and GPOs, as well as strategic distributor relationships to maximize revenue within the channel.
  • Support Sales Team: Support the regional sales team with key account management, proposal, and contract negotiations.
  • Build and Support a Team: Recruit, select, develop, and coach top-tier sales talent, building a team of top performers focused on sustained growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years minimum medical devices industry sales experience, with 2+ years people management experience preferred.
  • Track Record: Proven track record in consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets year over year.
  • Relationships: Demonstrated ability to maintain professional internal and external relationships that reflect the company core values.
  • Sales Skills: Strong selling skills in hospital and clinical environments, with high proficiency in MS Office suite of products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Communication: Strong English communication, written and verbal, with a polished and professional demeanor.
