Job Summary

Lafarge Canada is seeking a skilled Asphalt Screed Operator to join our team in Prince George, BC. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for operating the screed on our paving machines, ensuring the depth and width of the asphalt meet our high standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Set the depth and width of the asphalt to exact specifications.
  • Shovel asphalt into holes and areas inaccessible to the paving machine.
  • Provide exceptional internal customer service and exceed expectations.
  • Follow all safety, compliance, and environmental requirements.
  • Perform related work as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of experience as a paving screed operator.
  • Attention to detail and high degree of quality work.
  • Ability to work overtime, nights, and in all weather conditions.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
