We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage all aspects of corporate domestic and international logistics at BCLC, our Crown Corporation that earns over $1 billion in annual revenue.

Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory control, inspection of received goods, management of inbound and outbound shipments, and recycling and destruction of end-of-life goods. This role requires developing and maintaining working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors/suppliers to ensure effective track & trace procedures and completion of logistics documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and control corporate merchandise, critical supply items, and product inventory levels while maintaining optimal warehouse utilization.
  2. Process internal order requests and coordinate with commercial couriers for general queries, quote inquiries, and scheduling. Verify all logistics invoices.
  3. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including public/players, vendors/suppliers, service providers, and government customs agencies/customs brokers internationally to ensure logistics operations integrity.
  4. Lead and coordinate corporate logistics requirements, including movement of critical supply items to maintain daily operations, gaming equipment maintenance, and support for corporate and strategic projects/initiatives.
  5. Manage sale, recycling, and destruction processes for end-of-life goods following Electronics Product Recycling Association (EPRA) and government agency requirements.
  6. Maintain accurate goods receipt entry and movement within SAP, ensuring data-entry transactional accuracy and adherence to service level agreements.
  7. Process inventory stock transfer and purchase orders to deliver equipment and marketing materials to site. Collaborate with Inventory Management to resolve discrepancies.
  8. Verify quality of goods against purchase orders, document logistic details, and place goods in designated areas.
  9. Coordinate packaging and distribution of merchandise for project initiatives and Special Events across the province.
  10. Analyze and troubleshoot missing, incorrect, or stolen shipments to Lottery retailers, coordinating ticket stock adjustments with Corporate Finance and reporting to Corporate Security & Compliance.
  11. Conduct safety inspections and work order approvals for warehouse equipment, coordinating external stakeholders for regular maintenance.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary courses in supply management.
  • APICS (CPIM, CLTD), CITT (CCLP) or relevant certification preferred.
  • Forklift and warehouse materials handling equipment certification an asset.
  • 2 years' experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, and inventory control.
  • An equivalent combination of education/experience considered.

Estimated salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
