Job Title: Work Package Financial Controller

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Work Package Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our industrial finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial accuracy and integrity of our work packages.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the correct and proper financial validation of work packages to support the Estimate at Completion (EAC) of each project.
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial data, including costs, revenues, and margins, to ensure coherence between budget, forecast, and project figures.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce costs and improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to project managers and teams to ensure compliance with Alstom's financial policies and procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with work packages, including cost overruns and revenue shortfalls.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including project managers, procurement teams, and finance teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in industrial finance and cost management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in industrial finance, cost management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Excel, with experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Fluency in English, with French an asset.
