Hotel Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team at 2382935 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and accurate manner.
- Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and guests are aware of hotel facilities and services.
- Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, maintaining accurate records and communicating with guests and staff as required.
- Information and Assistance: Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area.
- Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures as required, ensuring the well-being of guests and staff.
- Clerical Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, as well as clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, as well as contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Language: Work Language: English.
- Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
