To support our continued growth, we are seeking a talented Corporate Finance Professional to join our team.

As a key member of our team, you will participate in originating, structuring, and executing complex institutionally supported financing transactions for privately-owned companies.

You will conduct detailed financial analysis on historical and projected financial results, perform various financial analyses, and review credit agreements and indentures to analyze covenants and other relevant credit restrictions.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the development of pitch materials, confidential information memorandums, and other corporate finance documentation.

You will also participate in financial suitor due diligence process, prepare internal briefing materials, and develop relationships with current and future clients.

At times, business needs arise, and employees may be required to work beyond normal working hours.

The successful candidate will have an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, with a focus on finance or accounting, and hold a CPA or CFA designation or be pursuing one.

A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting, corporate finance, investment banking, research, private equity, or similar corporate finance roles is preferred.

You must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and possess a solid understanding of financial modeling.

A 'can-do' attitude, excellent critical, troubleshooting, and analytical skills are essential, as well as the ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision, possess strong communication and presentation skills, and demonstrate a team spirit and great interpersonal skills.

We offer competitive pay and bonus/profit sharing upon achievement of milestones. This is a partner track position with an estimated salary range of $70,000 – $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70000-$90000 per year

Flexible Language Requirement: French not required

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate: Calgary or Vancouver - reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
