About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a team of finance professionals, collaborating closely with the CPKC Finance Team to execute the company's strategic plan. Your expertise in treasury operations will be invaluable in managing cash forecasting, payment operations, FX trading, commercial paper, and money market activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of finance professionals to drive execution of CPKC's strategic plan.
  • Oversee day-to-day cash management activities, including cash forecasting and payment operations.
  • Develop and implement effective treasury strategies to optimize liquidity, manage short-term and long-term financial needs, and minimize risks.
  • Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions to optimize banking operations and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with debt covenants, reporting requirements, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to provide guidance on capital allocation decisions, dividend programs, and share repurchase initiatives.
  • Support preparation of rating agency models, presentation materials, and quarterly reporting deliverables.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5-10 years of experience in treasury, banking, financial planning, corporate finance, accounting, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving team success.
  • An undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CTP, MBA, CA, or CMA are highly valued.
  • Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills, with attention to detail and commitment to financial safety.
