Anesthesiologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Education and Training: Earn a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from a recognized medical school.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setting is an asset, but not required.
- Work Setting: This is a staff position in a hospital environment, with relocation costs not covered by the employer.
- Tasks: As a consultant to other physicians, you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert medical advice and guidance to colleagues.
- Participating in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Certifications and Licenses: You must hold the following certifications and licenses:
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC).
- Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II).
- Specialty residency training in Anesthesiology.
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination.
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Policy and Program Experience: You must have experience in:
- Continuing education or adult education programs.
- Specialization in Clinical Medicine: You must have a specialization in Anesthesiology.
- Work Terms: This is a permanent position with a work term of 1950 hours per year.
- Work Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
