We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our anesthesiology department.
Key Responsibilities- Education and Training: Earned a doctorate degree in medicine and completed specialty residency training in anesthesiology.
- Work Setting: Work in a hospital setting, providing anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Act as consultants to other physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement anesthesia plans for patients undergoing surgery.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Certifications and Licenses: Hold a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) and have passed the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II).
- Policy and Program Experience: Have experience in continuing education or adult education and have a specialization in clinical medicine.
- Experience: Possess experience in anesthesiology and have a strong understanding of medical procedures and protocols.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 1950 hours per year.
