Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator Assistant will provide support to our early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role involves assisting with daily activities, preparing snacks, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that meet the diverse needs of children
  • Support the development of children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social skills through play-based activities and educational programs
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Assist with daily routines, such as dressing, toileting, and feeding children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including cleaning and sanitizing toys and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
Requirements:
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification
  • Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
