About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at RNK Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality drywall installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet client specifications
  • Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry
  • Install exterior and interior steel studs, as well as metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a variety of locations, including construction sites and client premises. You will be exposed to cold, refrigerated, and hot environments, as well as dusty and noisy conditions. You will also be required to work outdoors and in various settings.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in drywall installation an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
