Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Meals Coordinator at School District #22 (Vernon). This is a part-time position that requires a strong commitment to ensuring the smooth operation of our lunch program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort and distribute lunches to students in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Supervise students and provide guidance on procedures and protocols
  • Manage and maintain records and lists of program participants
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Grade 10 education or equivalent
  • Food Safe Certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar role
Working Conditions

This is a unionized position with CUPE Local 5523. The hourly rate of pay is $25.45, plus a percentage in lieu of vacation and statutory holiday pay.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to qualified applicants who self-declare Indigenous ancestry.
