Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at Parikar Indian Nepali Cuisine. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a senior culinary role, with a proven track record of success in managing kitchen staff, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, and driving sales growth through innovative menu offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chef Management: Supervise and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen assistants to achieve exceptional food quality, presentation, and service standards.
  • M Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to design and implement new menu items, specials, and promotions that drive customer loyalty and increase revenue.
  • Kitchen Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for staff and customers.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and coaching to kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting career development and retention.
Requirements
  • Chef Qualifications: Completion of a recognized culinary program or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively under pressure, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
