Job Title: Graphic & Web Design Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced instructor to teach Graphic and Web Design courses at John Abbott College.

Course Details:

• Course: 412-B16-AB
• Title: Graphic Design Concepts
• Hours: 60
• Section(s): one (1)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Fine Arts
• Bachelor's degree in a related field may be considered
• Minimum of 3 years working experience directly related to the discipline of digital design / graphic arts
• Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
• Excellent English communication skills essential
• Bilingualism (English/French) and ability to teach in French are preferred

Additional Requirements:

• A Digital art/design portfolio is encouraged
• In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement
