About the RoleThis position reports directly to the restaurant manager and will be responsible for evaluating daily operations, monitoring staff performance, planning and organizing daily tasks, recruiting staff, setting work schedules, and determining service offerings and operational procedures. The successful candidate will also ensure that inventory is maintained, health and safety regulations are adhered to, and negotiations with suppliers are effectively managed.
Responsibilities- Evaluate daily operations and make informed decisions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Plan and organize daily tasks to ensure seamless execution and timely completion
- Recruit and train high-quality staff members who share our company values and vision
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to meet customer demands
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to, protecting both customers and employees
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other essential supplies, securing the best deals possible
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the food industry
- A strong educational background, including secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff members
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- A deep understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as local health and safety laws
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on your experience and qualifications. Your salary will be commensurate with your background and skills.
