Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dining Room Attendant to join our team at DTK FOOD SERVICE INC. O/A SUBWAY. As a key member of our food service crew, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.

About the Role
  • Report to work on time, ready to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude throughout your shift.
  • Clean and sanitize all dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors, to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers.
  • Restock supplies, such as utensils, plates, and condiments, to ensure an efficient service.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize items by hand when necessary.
  • Prepare and serve simple food items, such as sandwiches and salads, in accordance with company recipes and standards.
  • Take orders from customers, handle transactions, and provide change when necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and efficiency during peak periods, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
