Job Description:
A Production Worker performs bench or line-assembly operations to produce refurbished coin-operated washer and dryer parts and related subassemblies. The Production Worker works at different work stations according to production needs.
The role involves various tasks on different models of the same item, including moving washers and dryers on and off an assembly line, placing parts in bins for refurbishment, and maintaining excellent Workers' Comp safety records.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Perform assembly operations efficiently, meeting production targets and deadlines.
- Work effectively in a team environment, promoting collaboration and cooperation.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of hand tools, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, drill motors, and metal snips.
- Utilize equipment like air-driven drills, screw guns, and rivet guns safely and accurately.
- Lift 50 pounds regularly and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with assistance.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
- 1 year of related experience and/or training is a plus.
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions and documents.
- Possess basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
- Able to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
