Job Title: Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Store Manager will be responsible for the overall management of our retail store, including daily operations, staff supervision, and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and Control Daily Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of the store, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and staff performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance staff productivity.
  • Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and train staff, assign tasks, and evaluate performance.
  • Study Market Research and Trends: Analyze market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and competitor activity.
  • Implement Price and Credits Policies: Develop and implement pricing strategies and credit policies to maximize sales and revenue.
  • Plan Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Develop and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Recruit, Hire, and Supervise Staff: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, including conducting performance reviews.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Setting: Retail business
  • Supervision: 5-10 people
  • Personal Suitability: Collaborative, Energetic, Goal-oriented, Proactive, Client focus, Excellent oral communication, Judgement, Ability to multitask
