Job Title: Recycling and Garbage Truck Driver/Loader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Recycling and Garbage Truck Driver/Loader to join our team at Emterra Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating waste collection/recycling vehicles, loading curbside materials, and providing excellent customer service.

Job Duties:
  • Operate waste collection/recycling vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Load curbside materials into the truck, ensuring accurate and timely completion of routes.
  • Observe and adhere to safe work practices, including pre and post-trip inspections.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner, meeting or exceeding company standards.
  • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections, completing Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Valid Ontario DZ driver's license with a clean driving abstract and CVOR.
  • Minimum one year experience driving with a DZ license or an AZ graduate from an accredited driving school.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Able to pass a background check, including an MTO medical/drug test, criminal history search, license verification, and employment confirmation.
  • Punctual, reliable, and a team player, with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Full-time, Permanent

Salary:

$25.50 per hour

Work Schedule:

Day shift, Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:
