Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team at the Northern Dental Centre. As a key member of our oral health care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and promoting healthy smiles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough dental assessments to identify potential issues
  • Consult with dentists to develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide patients with education and guidance on oral hygiene and gum disease prevention
  • Clean and stimulate gums to prevent disease
  • Apply fluoride treatments and remove stains and deposits from teeth
  • Take and develop X-rays as needed
  • Diagnose and treat gum disease and other oral health issues
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory of dental equipment
  • Implement treatment plans and educate patients on their oral health
  • Examine patients' teeth, gums, and surrounding tissue
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Requirements
  • Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body
  • Immunization records
