About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team at the Northern Dental Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough dental assessments to identify potential issues
  • Collaborate with dentists to develop personalized patient care plans
  • Provide patients with education on proper oral hygiene techniques
  • Clean and stimulate gums to prevent gum disease
  • Apply fluoride treatments to promote healthy teeth
  • Remove stains and deposits from teeth
  • Take and develop X-rays to aid in diagnosis
  • Diagnose and treat various dental conditions
  • Order and maintain inventory of dental supplies
  • Implement treatment plans and educate patients on their care
  • Examine patients' teeth, gums, and surrounding tissue
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Requirements
  • Dental Hygienists Licensure from the appropriate governing body
  • Immunization records
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with a client-focused approach
