Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

1034152 B.C. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to meet our high standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure accurate financial management.
  • Authorize return of merchandise and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Sell merchandise and promote our products to customers.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient stock management.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure seamless store operations.
Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

Our retail store operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
