Job Summary

Agropur is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the operations of our production department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our operating plan is met, with a focus on sanitation, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with the Quality, Maintenance, and Production Departments to minimize downtime and ensure product safety and quality.
  • Ensure consistent application of best practices towards product evaluation, food safety, and quality to support and maintain Agropur quality standards.
  • Support the operation of the HACCP team to ensure that the facility and documentation are suitable for third-party/customer audits.
  • Undertake other functions as required.
Requirements
  • College Diploma or University Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a supervisor with direct involvement in a production facility.
  • Must have a mechanical aptitude and be willing to work a variety of shifts, including coverage of other departments.
  • Computer literacy, ideally with MS Office (Word and Excel), and Lotus Notes; and SAP.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance systems (HACCP and SQF) is an asset.
  • Thorough knowledge of Dairy operations with particular emphasis on processing, sanitation, and product quality.
  • Prior experience in Quality Control and/or Operations within the Dairy, beverage, or food processing industry.
  • Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
