About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Consultant to join our team at Kinectrics.

Job Summary

This is a permanent opportunity for an Intermediate-level professional with 5-10 years of technical experience in industry or government, preferably in power generation, transmission & distribution, or nuclear facilities. As an Environmental Sustainability Consultant, you will perform environmental risk assessments and related studies, conduct environmental modeling and simulations, prepare environmental assessment reports, and develop technical methodologies and estimates for client proposals.

Responsibilities
  • Perform environmental risk assessments and related studies
  • Conduct environmental modeling and simulations
  • Prepare environmental assessment reports, including analysis of climate data, meteorological data, environmental characterization data
  • Develop technical methodologies and estimates for client proposals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science (Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geology) or Engineering (Environmental) or recognized educational equivalent
  • Ability to integrate technical inputs from various sources across multiple disciplines into cohesive technical assessments
  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in: Environmental risk assessment Environmental characterization Environmental modeling Impact assessment/environmental assessments
  • 5 -10 years of technical experience in industry or government. Experience in power generation, transmission & distribution, or nuclear facilities is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Canadian nuclear regulatory requirements and environmental regulations is an asset
  • Capability to work in a project-driven environment, meet deadlines, work under pressure, and adhere to project constraints (time, cost, quality)

Location and Salary

The position is located at 393 University Avenue, Toronto, ON. The estimated salary range for this role is $95,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
