Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and packages to our clients in a timely and professional manner.

Job Responsibilities

As a Logistics Delivery Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Operating and driving company vehicles to pick up and deliver goods and packages
  • Delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients
  • Receiving and relaying information to central dispatch
  • Keeping a record of items received and delivered
  • Handling and transporting dangerous goods
  • Loading and unloading goods
  • Sorting packages for delivery
  • FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS AND READING MAPS
  • Recording trip information such as vehicle mileage and fuel costs
  • Providing learning/training paid by employer

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a Logistics Delivery Specialist, you will need:

  • A valid driver's licence
  • A Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles) and Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
