Job Summary

Fountain Tire Spruce Grove is seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, balancing, and rotating passenger and light truck tires and wheels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, balance, and rotate passenger and light truck tires and wheels
  • Complete and maintain various safety courses, including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
  • Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
  • Complete specialty tire work, including studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

Working Conditions

  • A team environment where hard work, concise communication, and clear heads are rewarded
  • In-shop work as well as service truck calls
  • After-hours service calls
  • Consistent lifting of weights up to approximately 100lbs is required

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of tire experience - Commercial and OTR experience preferred
  • A valid driver's license is a must
  • Excellent customer service skills and a great attitude are essential
