Job Summary:

The ECE Assistant will work under the supervision of our experienced early childhood educators to provide high-quality care and education to our young children. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Assisting early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote children's development
  • Leading activities such as storytelling, singing, and taking children on outings
  • Ordering supplies and equipment
  • Assisting with record-keeping and submitting written observations
  • Discussing children's progress and problems at staff meetings
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and community service providers
  • Creating a safe and healthy environment for children
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
  • Flexibility and reliability
Working Conditions:

The ECE Assistant will work 35 hours per week in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education to our children.

Language:

The primary language of communication is English.
