Job Title: ECE Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Tiny Hoppers Early Learning Centre.

Job Summary:

The ECE Assistant will work under the supervision of our experienced early childhood educators to provide high-quality care and education to our children. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote children's development
  • Provide individualized attention and care to children, including feeding, bathing, and diaper changing
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, such as reading, singing, and crafts
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, including preparing snacks and arranging rooms
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a childcare setting
  • Permanent position, 35 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
