Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of food service staff to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise a team of 3-4 people.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
