About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Sales Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the sales efforts at our paint store, servicing wholesale and retail customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Ensure that sales transactions are completed accurately and maintain accurate work order files and formulas
  • Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse and tint and mix them to customer specifications
  • Stock shelves and set up displays, clean store equipment, and load and unload trucks
  • Assist in making deliveries if necessary

Requirements

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment
  • Able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Able to distinguish the difference between colors
  • Able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or comparable certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to speak a second language
  • Prior experience in a sales or customer service position
  • Customer service skills, including problem solving and handling customer complaints
