Job Summary

Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a skilled Registered Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Services team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, including pediatric and high-risk obstetric cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and perform ultrasound examinations, ensuring high-quality images and accurate diagnoses
  • Liaise with senior technologists and radiologists to ensure technical quality and consistency
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited training program in Ultrasonography
  • Current member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Professional designation of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) registration
  • Effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
