Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

Otter Co-op is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing maintenance support to our liquor stores, gas bars, and food stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance support to all Otter Co-op locations
  • Conduct site assessments and repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks
  • Receive and respond to maintenance requests
  • Support sites with maintenance logging and reporting
  • Provide safety orientations and prepare contractors for maintenance work
  • Prioritize tasks based on operational needs
  • Work with Safety & Asset Protection to investigate incidents and accidents
  • Manage annual contractor maintenance
  • Contribute to the team's commitment to Integrity, Community, and Excellence

Requirements:

  • 2 years of general maintenance experience
  • High-level commitment to a safe working environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Class 5 DL with a clean driving record
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • Proven track record as a self-starter, dedicated, and reliable
  • Ability to perform physical job duties
  • Frequent travel to perform work at various locations
