Job Title: Machine Designer

We are seeking a skilled Machine Designer to join our team at Power Bus Way Ltd. as a key member of our design and development team.

Job Summary:

The Machine Designer will be responsible for designing and developing manufacturing instructions, user manuals, and other technical documents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop manufacturing instructions and user manuals
  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials
  • Design tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures
  • Use 3D graphic software, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in mechanical design and development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colours
