Requirements
  • Seven years of successful teaching or administrative experience
  • Teaching experience in two divisions or specialized areas
  • Certificate of Qualification and Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Master of Education or equivalent
  • Special Education, Part 1, and Anti-Black Racism to Change Pedagogy and Practice, Part 1, or equivalent
  • Principals qualifications according to Regulation 298: Section 9
  • Religious Education Specialist or equivalency
  • Equity and Inclusion Training, Part I, and commitment to complete Part II within the first year
  • Pastoral Reference for a Leadership Position in Catholic Education
  • Recommendation from the current supervising Superintendent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Acting Principal, Vice-Principal, or Consultant experience
  • Strong commitment to Catholic School Community
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and addressing systemic barriers
  • Experience in creating safe, inclusive, and equitable learning environments
  • Academic and professional qualifications beyond the basic requirements
  • Servant leadership management style
  • Involvement in Special Education programs and curriculum development
