About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Category Management to join our team at Flanagan Foodservice. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the category management team to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement category strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and customer needs to inform category development and pricing strategies.
  • Manage and optimize category performance through data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • University degree in business or equivalent experience.
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in category management, vendor/supplier negotiation, and leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of achieving results and driving business growth.
