Work Setting

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will work in the employer\u0027s/client\u0027s home, providing a clean and comfortable environment for our clients. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the home, including the kitchen, bathroom, and living areas.

Tasks

Your duties as a Housekeeping Assistant will include:

  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Dust furniture
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closet
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
  • Clean changing rooms and showers
Security and Safety

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be required to undergo a basic security clearance check. You will also be responsible for maintaining the security and safety of our clients\u0027 homes.

Transportation/Travel Information

You will be required to use public transportation to travel to and from our clients\u0027 homes. You will also be required to work a permanent schedule, with 35-40 hours per week.
